You can leave the choice to the diocese, or name the work you want your gift to support. Either is welcome, and neither is binding — say what you have in mind on the form below and the donations office will write back with the practicalities.

Directed by the diocese
The gift the diocese can move fastest, to whatever is most urgent in the month it arrives.
In one year that may mean food when the rains fail; in another, a roof over a classroom that has none, or fuel for the vehicle that carries a nurse out to an outstation.
The diocese is the largest provider of education in the region.
Eighteen diocesan primary and secondary schools, thirty-seven community-owned satellite schools — many teaching in open-air classrooms — seven kindergartens, four vocational institutions, the Mazzolari Teacher Training Institute, Accelerated Learning Programme centres for adults who never went to school, and a campus of the Catholic University of South Sudan.
A gift here pays for
A county-sized hospital, a primary health care centre, and the outreach teams that go out from them.
Mary Immaculate Hospital at Mapuordit has 111 beds across maternity, paediatric, medical, isolation and surgical departments, an operating theatre on 24-hour standby and a nursing training centre boarding 48 students. The Primary Health Care Centre in Rumbek treats around 2,500 patients a month.

Seventeen parishes and one mission
The Pastoral departmentA limited number of ordained clergy serve more than 150 rural chapels and prayer stations across the diocese.
Gifts here carry allowances, transport and spare parts, teaching materials in Dinka, the training of catechists and lay staff, PALICA and the minor seminary — and the emergency food relief projects the diocese runs when a season fails.
